Izstāde "Budapeštas jūgendstila plakāti"

No 7. oktobra līdz 29. novembrim muzejā "Rīgas Jūgendstila centrs" aicinām iepazīt Budapeštas jūgendstila plakātus.

"Lipik elsőrangú gyógyfürdő" (tulk. lat. val. "Dziednieciskie ūdeņi Lipik". Autors Geza Farago (Géza Faragó)Izstāde veidota sadarbībā ar Ungārijas vēstniecību Latvijā un ir viens no "Ungārija dienu 2015" pasākumiem.

Budapešta tāpat kā Rīga lepojas ar bagātu jūgendstila mantojumu. 20. gadsimta pirmajās dekādēs bija vērojams Ungāru plakātu mākslas uzplaukums, kuras piemērus būs iespēja apskatīt izstādē "Budapeštas jūgendstila plakāti". Izstādē aplūkojamie plakāti apmeklētājiem ļaus iejusties gājēja lomā, kurš klaiņo pa 20. gadsimta sākuma Budapeštas ielām.

20. gadsimta sākumā Ungārijas plakātu mākslā joprojām dominēja glezniecība, tomēr tā tika papildināta ar jauniem mākslinieciskās izteiksmes līdzekļiem, kuru ietekmē plakāts veidojās par atsevišķu lietišķās mākslas nozari. Vislielāko stimulu Ungārijas plakātu mākslas attīstībai nodrošināja īpaši plakātu mākslas konkursi. Mākslas izstādēm radītie plakāti iedibināja komerciālo plakātu tradīciju. Labākie šī perioda darbi saistās ar tādiem vārdiem kā Geza Farago (Géza Faragó), Mihali Biro (Mihály Bíró), Imre Foldess (Imre Földes) un Martons Tuskaijs (Márton Tuszkay). Viņi bija jūgendstila plakātu mākslas pamatlicēji un piešķīra ilglaicīgu dzīvi uzņēmumiem un zīmoliem.
